It’s finished for another week; the ironing is done and put away and there’s not a dirty sock left in the house. I have more or less downloaded enough music on my MP3 player to keep a DJ in music for months. So I can finally relax and put my feet up.

Rain and Mud
@ 2008-10-05 – 11:03:05
That was very hard work, ok it was raining but the wind as dropped a little so it is not as strong as the last couple of days. But the mud on the cross country section was very difficult, it is actually clay based to it was sticky and very slippery, I came off the bike three or four times. But that wasn’t the worst of it, because it was sticky it clogged up every thing, the gears the brakes it was so thick on the wheels at one time it stopped them going round.
Despite every thing I really enjoyed, and would do it again in an instance, well next Sunday anyway. It took me a little over two hours to do the 18 miles; the cross country bit really slowed me up today. But I arrived without too many bruises; as soon as I got back I washed all the mud off the bike and throw my clothes straight into the washing machine. Then jumped into the shower, now it time to relax and finish load music on to the MP3 player.

MP3 Player
@ 2008-10-05 – 07:08:00
I managed to upload some music on my new MP3 player yesterday; I will finish it off today. I used about 50% of the memory available but that still took loads of CD’s. I have a few more favourites to down, plus some music I have down loaded of the internet, I suppose then I will have to organise it all into playlist’s and such like, I sure that will be fun and probably try my patience as well.
But the good thing it’s Sunday and because we cleaned up yesterday we have nothing to do (well very little to do, just a small pile of ironing that should take no longer than 30 minutes to do).
I don’t think I will be taking the new MP3 out on my ride this morning it’s far too wet, I do normally take my a MP3 player with me when I go, but not when it wet, it buggers up the headphones when they get wet.

Motivation Needed
@ 2008-10-05 – 06:52:32
Hello my friends welcome to wet and cold Sunday morning. While I’m typing a way here I’m looking out of the living room window and wondering why I do this to myself. I am just trying to motivate myself to go out on my bike. Today being Sunday will the longest route I have to date, 18 miles, and for those that read my blog, 8 miles of that will be cross country, muddy and wet and great fun. But I still need to find that motivation any way it will be another hour before I venture out anyway.
