Rabbit Thought of the Day

Well here I am, my first day in my new job, not gone has planned mainly due to my line manager being called away at short notice and no body available in HR. However, I did have a have a briefing by another manager and engineer. On the plus I do have a computer and it does have access to the internet as you will probably have surmised.

I been given a simple job to do, that I could probably do standing on my head, it only reviewing a number of documents and checking the size of generator to ensure that it is the right size, because they cocked it up on site and don’t want it to happen again. In summary then so far so good.

Welcome to Monday the start of a brand new working week, and for me a new job. Normally at this time I’m already on my way to work, but today being a new starter I don’t need to be there until 08:30 so I have a little time to kill before I leave. There are a number of routes I can take, but which one will be best? I suppose over the next week or I could try them all so see which is the best, according to the AA the quickest is the M25 and then the M11 but I cant see that normally the M25 is the slowest, everybody knows what it like first thing in the morning. So I decided to go across country the traffic should be lighter and probably first thing in the morning quicker we’ll see.

Rosemary and Caz kept asking me if I was nervous last night, I replied that I wasn’t. But now, well I’m not really nervous, just a little apprehensive I suppose. Wondering if I had the right thing in leaving my last job.
