Being an asthmatic I am advised to have a flu jab every year, and I have followed this advise and since then I have not suffered with flu at all, if fact I have never really suffered with a cold either, but I think this just might coincidence. I have already booked my appointment this year, and on the 22 October I will visit the nurse for my jab.
For those who are old, are suffer from a chest complaint such as asthma then I also advise you to get this jab, it is free and certainly helps.

I agree, I used to get flu every 2 or 3 years, but I have had the jab every year for over 20 years and only once got the flu in the millenium (and apparently that year they got the strain wrong).
