  • Interview Results

I don’t know if I get the chance to blog tomorrow, I will probably have to leave quite early and normally when I get home evening I never get the chance to use the computer, Caz usually hogs it most of the evening. Oh well I suppose that life, will be out on bike tomorrow night, now that my holiday is over I will have to go back to riding in the evening, which is shame I was enjoying going out every morning.

I should also find out how my interview went tomorrow, hopefully they will have made decision and that will be in my favour. I came my phone on and my fingers crossed tomorrow!

  • Break in Training

Yesterday’s break in training did me some good, I felt strong this morning and copped well with the weather despite the strong wind. But I didn’t do my usual route I actually went back to the short route this morning. Not by design I may add, but because there was a charity bike ride this morning that I got mixed up in, I decided rather than get mixed in the ride I would sit it out and watch, hence I only managed to cycle half my usual distance (about six miles).

  • Back to Work

Tomorrow sees me back at work for the first time in two weeks, and as you may guess I am not looking forward to it, but the good news is I am not in the office. I have to go to site Building Research Establishment (BRE) in Watford. So at least it will gentle start back. I have checked my emails already and there is nothing important in there, I thought it best to check in case plans had changed about tomorrow, I will go through properly on Tuesday when I am back in the office.

  • Crap as Usual

I wasn’t too far off the mark yesterday with our great national football team, I will admit that I haven’t read the report only the headlines and they do not make good reading. Although we actually won the performance and remember this is from only reading the headlines left somewhat to be desired, they made it clear that we were rubbish and we managed a 2-0 win over a country with a population of just over 70,000. Not even the size of a large town in England and they struggle to find team yet our one of players probably earns more a year than they GDP (well not quite). Just shows how good we are.

Another poor performance in sport was shown my Amir Khan was knocked out in the first round in his latest fight, on the good news Lewis Hamilton won again and Scot Andy Murray is in a great position in his semi final match against Nadal in the USA Open.

  • Southampton Univesity

Yesterdays’ trip to Southampton University was a great success apart from the weather and having to drive Southampton looking for the particle car park I was supposed to use.  Caz was very impressed with the campus and the facilities available and the University has been elevation to go the short list. I was impressed as well and one of the speakers nearly had me signed to go as well, he came across so well. She is looking to study and english and history.

While driving round the city I happen to notice that there was a cruise ship in port, now I have seen these on TV and heard about the size they are, but until you see one close up you don’t actually realise just how big these things are, at first glance I thought it was a large office block only after a few minutes and looking at from a different angle did I realise it was a cruise ship, I didn’t see the name but is was bloody big.

  • Blogging

Well it’s the middle if the afternoon and it the first available opportunity I have had to get on the computer. It’s just been one of those days where I just haven’t had the time, but now all my jobs are complete and I am able to concentrate on the important things in life. Blogging!
