Don’t forget the Paralympics start today, these people are far more deserving that the over overpaid primadonna's we have in our national football team.

Power Crazed Zealots
@ 2008-09-06 – 06:30:33
A council official has been branded "overzealous" after a Kent teenager was threatened with an £80 fine for putting up lost cat posters. Daniel Cope, 13, put up 100 flyers on lamp posts in Whitstable after his cat Milly went missing two weeks ago.
But the schoolboy was called back by an environment inspector who accused him of breaching litter regulations. Canterbury City Council has apologised to the boy's family for its handling of the situation. A statement issued by the authority said: "We are sorry to hear that Daniel has lost his cat and understand he wants to do all he can to find her.
"Although putting up posters like these is considered to be fly-posting, which could result in a fine, we were overzealous in our handling of the situation and apologise to him and his family."
Daniel, who is still looking for his large tortoiseshell house cat which had never been outside and could be hiding, said: "I think it was absolutely disgusting. "Lots of people have said to me it's a really petty issue - saying it's anti-social behaviour putting up flyers on posts." The teenager said: "People need to find their animals because they're part of a family - it's like you losing your child."
Heather Cope, Daniel's mother, said: "I just broke down into tears. I thought this is just not happening - I just thought what harm's it doing the posters being out there?" Her husband Stephen said he wanted to leave the posters where they were.
He said he would have let the council issue a fine and gone to court to "tell the whole world".
There are far too many instances of this happening in this country lately, too many people are given far to much power and it turns their heads makes them in a power crazed idiot who thinks that he his the most powerful person in the world. Unfortunately this now leads to a person being fined and in some cases receiving a criminal record for some minor infringement of the law, and the person has little chance of redress, its something that the Labour has brought upon us and needs to be sorted out very quickly. -
Big Brother Finished
@ 2008-09-06 – 06:19:28
I have just noticed that Big Brother has finished and was won by somebody called Rachael Rice, well that another program I never watched I even forgot it was on that’s the amount of interest I have shown in the program. No doubt she will become a big celebrity and she a £100,000 as well.

Overrated

England are in action in the first game of the 2010 World Cup Qualifier, they are playing world class opposition in the form of Andorra, we might scrap a draw if we are lucky after all such high class opposition deserve respect, to tell you the truth I’m not really bothered and I won’t be watching it in any case. But I doubt we will turn in a good performance because we re bloody useless, I’ll be surprise if we qualify for the finals in South Africa in 2010; we are vastly overrated as a football nation.

Feeling Paranoid
@ 2008-09-06 – 06:07:58
I managed another good swim last night; I did 1200m once again. I still had another 30 minutes left of the session so I have a good chance to build on the distance. The session is meant to be eight to nine, but I managed to get in 15 minutes early. However, the sub-aqua club is in from nine, but they tend to start arriving at about quarter past eight and by half past nearly all the members are wandering around the side pf the pool sorting all they equipment out and it a little off putting, it feels like they want you out of the pool so they can get in. Perhaps it’s just me feeling paranoid.
Unfortunately I will miss out on my morning bike, but I will make up for tomorrow, I suppose I could call it my rest day, I have been out on my bike every day now for over two weeks, so perhaps a rest is in order.

Up Early
@ 2008-09-06 – 06:00:37
For some I have woken up early, I would have been up in about hours time anyway has Caz and I are going to Southampton University, we all planning on leaving at about eight (ish) so getting up at seven would have been about right.
The cats are still both asleep at either end of the sofa; I suppose they will want feeding anytime. Mind you so do I, its going to be a long day so a good breakfast will be in order to keep me going.
