  • Wet and Cold

What a miserable day it as been, I been cold and wet all day. The area at Watford as no heating and it’s always damp. It’s really a tin shed with a corrugated iron roof and lunch time the heavens opened and it absolutely poured it down, the rain falling on the roof sounded like a machine gun, it came down so heavy.

Thankfully its dried up at the moment, I think it waiting until I gout in the morning before it starts to rain again. I off to London again in the morning but before that I am planning on going out on bike first thing in the morning, I just hope the wind drops, it very windy at the moment and it will make very difficult in the morning unless it eases off a little.

  • Tuesday Morning

Well the good weather has finally broken and we now have the normal British autumn weather, wet and dismal. Today I am off the Building Research Establishment at Watford, we need to do some modifications to the lighting installation we put in, and because I can’t find electrician at short notice then I have to carry out the work myself. Don’t worry I am well qualified, I did do an apprenticeship on the tools. So it will be interesting to see if I remember which end of a screwdriver I hold.

I did another 11 miles on my bike, I did the short route which I normally do on the evenings normally because the longer route takes me along a pedestrian area , which is better done early in the morning when it quieter.

Oh well hope you have a good day and I will catch you later.
