Rabbit Thought of the Day

The sun has made an appearance now there’s a surprise and I have promised to do the ironing for Rosemary, I suppose I better get on and do, and then I’ll be able to go and enjoy the sunshine , after all you never know when it will but in appearance again.

I have just arranged another interview for tomorrow, I have had two other so far, one I turned down because it involved too much travelling and the other one I didn’t get. It may seem stupid to look for new in this economical climate but despite that the media portray there are plenty of job opportunities out there. I am a little miffed with the company I work for at the moment. When I went for the interview, it was aid that I would be working on this project in this location, 12 months on and I’m still in the office. Also I only received a 2% pay rise, where everybody else in the country including the public sector seem to be getting more, but the major grievance I have is the company bonus scheme or lack of it, I work for a very company with some 24,000 employees and a turn over of well £4 billion, yet the company hasn’t paid a bonus for years. This was something that sold the job for me and quite a few other employees felt the same way, in fact some have already left.

Caz has finally gone back to school, after her six week break, but I don’t think she will be there all day; apparently she has to register for her second year in the sixth form so she reckons that she will be home early, and tomorrow will be the first day back proper.

So I am on my own at the moment, with nothing to do but relax and chill out. I should make the best of it because next week I am back to work. I bet that it will be a struggle, but I will worry about that later for now I am still on holiday.

I am back on line after a short break; I finished my bike ride and am feeling really good, tonight its swimming so that will help me relax my muscles and be ready for tomorrow bike ride. It was still very windy this morning and sometimes it was a struggle to keep going. But I don’t like giving up on anything to I stuck to it and finished the full route without cutting it short.

I feel a little tried this morning that’s despite a good night sleep, that’s another side affect of all this exercise, I am sleeping well. I am ready for the off the once again and the weather looks somewhat better this morning, I don’t think I will get caught in another heavy shower, the wind seems to have subsided to that should make riding easier.

The cats have been fed and are waiting by the door for me to let them out we won’t see them till this evening when it’s feeding time once again. I suppose that’s typical of a cat, a bit like us males really. Oh well I suppose I better be making a move, catch you all later.
