  • Sack Them All

Security staff at Gatwick and Stansted airports are going go on strike on August bank holiday Monday, and I couldn’t give a toss I’m not flying out anywhere, they could go strike all week as far I care. They have rejected a 3% pay rise, my heart bleeds such a miserly pay increase, well, mine was only 2% and do you see me on strike? No!.

In the last few months quite a few people have been redundant and lost their jobs, I say sack the lot of them and employ the people who have lost their jobs.

  • Father for Justice

What a glorious day it is, I have jsu got home from my trip to Watford, thankfully the traffic was great and I didn’t get held up once, unlike the traffic on the other side of the motorway.

From what I can gather a guy from ‘Fathers for Justice’ has climbed one of the gantry over the motorway, I first heard of it, this morning on my to Watford but apparently he has been there all day. On my way home I joined the M25 at junction 21A and was travelling towards the Dartford Bridge in a clockwise direction. However, the traffic on the other side on the motorway was backed from junction 14 to about junction 23 which is I suppose 15 – 20 miles.

I realise that some have these guys may have been hard done by, but if I was a judge I wouldn’t allow any child to see anybody so irresponsible, yes he will get news coverage but when he gets out of prison (which is where I would send him) I hope he gets sued by the many drivers he has disadvantaged.

  • Greatest Olympian Ever

Six gold medals, this guy is unstoppable, the greatest Olympian ever, Michael Phelps now has a total 12 gold in the two Olympics he has competed in, will win the 8 he his after at these games, you would bet against him?

He his only 23 (I think) that means he should be able to repeat the feat at the London Olympics in 2012, I wonder if I can book tickets now, that would be something to see?

  • Very Pleasant

Although I don’t have to leave until later than usual this morning, I was still up at the same time. I then went out on my bike for more now usual exercise routine, a six ride 3 mile along the seafront and back (for those who aren’t very good at maths a total of six miles, well I think it is, isn’t it, please help some one, I can only use one hand, I’m typing with the other).

Anyway it was very pleasant, it was so peaceful, the sun was up and the tide on its way out, altogether is was great. I can definitely feel myself becoming stronger and fitter.

  • Yippee, its Friday

Yippee, its Friday just one more at work then a few days off to relax. Am still at home which is very unusual for me at this time of day I’m normally travelling over the Dartford Bridge into purgatory, otherwise known as Kent.

But in about 45 minutes I’ll be heading off to Watford for the day, I hope it will be a short day, I don’t fancy being too late then trying to get round the M25, not on Friday anyway. Still only another week then holiday time.
