Rabbit Thought of the Day

It has been a very nice walk, but like anticipated the seafront was packed and it was still very windy but  it was pleasant enough. We have now settled down to watch one of favourite films ‘Shawshank Redemption’ so it only a quick one, mind most of my blog at the weekend are a short, strange isn’t it, during the week I normally post longer blog’s you would have thought it would be the other way around.

Everything is spick and span we have been through the house like a whirlwind, and now it time to put our feet and relax. It still warm and sunny here so we planning a little walk down the sea front No doubt it will packed down there, it always is on a Sunday during the summer especially when the weather is like it is.

I have just had my reward for helping with the house work a nice bowl of strawberries and kiwi fruit my favourite.

I have just been checking on the sporting events of the day, the biggest surprise is that we are actually doing well in the cricket we have the South Africans on the ropes for a change mind you England now have South African captain that in itself says a lot for our national summer game.

We have our first gold medal of the games and once again the cyclists have done us proud, with Nicole Cooke winning in the women’s road race. We just missed out on the bronze n the archery with the French just beating us by a couple of points.

It’s lovely warm and bright day here in Southend, albeit with a stiff breeze that’s quite difficult to ride into. But it was another good work out and I find myself feeling stronger every day. I went out a little later than anticipated but I enjoyed myself all the same.

I now a few jobs to do around the flat, but that shouldn’t take me to long to do, but I am not looking forward to doing the ironing. Have just put nice classic music on it will help me get on with my jobs. I still have a good sweat on but I have no doubt it will far worse by the time I’ve finished.

I hope today is better than the disastrous day than I had yesterday, I doubt it could be worse, oh well lets dwell on the past. I will shortly be off out on my bike for a good work out it cloudy but is dry so it shouldn’t be too bad. My legs are aching a little from yesterday but I be ok once I get going.
