  • Am I a Prude

This is not a subject people normally talk about, but how many guys actually use their phones while stood nose to wall at the urinal having a jimmy riddle. I know the subject while not disgusting or really offensive is not one really talks or even blogs about. But I do find it rather strange, that guys actually do it, I have just come back from the toilet a guy was in there chatting away to clients while at the urinal is it me being a prude or does any body else find strange?

  • Lunch Time Walk

    Crossways

Have just been for a wander around the local pond, very nice it was too, a lot of people from the surrounding offices were also there, taking advantage of the great weather we are having today.

The only problem and it did become a problem even in the open air, were the smokers, sometimes smoke really irritates my asthma and I’m afraid it was one of those days.

But what was really annoying is that I didn’t have my camera with me, there were some good wildlife around on the water and I wasted the opportunity. I did have my camera phone an example of which I have posted but it would have been far better with my DSLR. But I am pleased with the results of the camera phone, although the swans didn’t come too well.

  • Easy Period

Am gazing out the window, and wishing I was anywhere else but here, it’s such a gorgeous day, much too nice to wasted here working away, am not too busy at the moment have a few tasks to do but they are overly taxing now do they need to done in a hurry.

But I will have to suffer it and stay here, if the weather was guaranteed to be the same tomorrow I might have been tempted to take a day’s holiday but it seems that we might be in for a few wet days.

The office seems very busy today, haven’t seen so many people in for ages. However, not a lot a work is going on, a lot of people in small groups chatting away but from what I can gleam it’s not work orientated. , everyone must be in the same boat s me. It’s a wonder this company makes any money, lol.

I suppose it’s the same in every organisation there are times when you have slack periods and there are times when you rushed off your feet. Last week was very busy and this week seems a little easier.  However, I do have a few meeting to attend in London Thursday, so I will have to prepare documentation for those later today and tomorrow drawings and schedules need to be completed.

  • Have Pride in Representing your Country

For tennis fans Andy Murray came back from two sets down to beat Gasquet and set up a quarter final meeting with Nadal on Wednesday.

I have come to the conclusion that British individual sportsman show grit, determination and spirit, they have pride not only in themselves, but in the nation they represent. While our national teams seem only interested in lining their pockets, when in competition they have show no pride and give up far too easily. The English football, rugby and cricket teams could learn a lot from these individuals. However, the Scottish and Welsh national teams seem to take great pride when playing for their country. Is it just me that or has anybody else noticed this.

I don’t think England will have any national success is sport until this pride is instilled into them. Until then we will just be an also ran. It should be more about representing your country then making money.

  • Religious Hypocrites

Well it’s the start of brand new month and today looks like being the warmest of the year so far, but don’t get excited this warm weather is not going to continue.

Once the church is showing its true colours that it is a sexist organisation and discrimination is still rife within its ranks. Clergy members have written to the Archbishop of Canterbury and York to say that they will leave the Church of England if women bishops are ordained.

Not being a religious person and not having the read Bible to any great degree, on what religious grounds do these bigots have for not wanting women bishops? These are the people appointed by God (ha ha) to ensure the well being of the nation and are supposed to speak out against racism and discrimination. The world has no place for people like these, if they want to leave the Church then let them it would probably be a better place without them.

It’s about time the Archbishop of Canterbury showed some leadership and guts and named these hypocrites, they then should be defrocked. These people are every thing that is wrong is religion.
