Well it’s the start of brand new month and today looks like being the warmest of the year so far, but don’t get excited this warm weather is not going to continue.
Once the church is showing its true colours that it is a sexist organisation and discrimination is still rife within its ranks. Clergy members have written to the Archbishop of Canterbury and York to say that they will leave the Church of England if women bishops are ordained.
Not being a religious person and not having the read Bible to any great degree, on what religious grounds do these bigots have for not wanting women bishops? These are the people appointed by God (ha ha) to ensure the well being of the nation and are supposed to speak out against racism and discrimination. The world has no place for people like these, if they want to leave the Church then let them it would probably be a better place without them.
It’s about time the Archbishop of Canterbury showed some leadership and guts and named these hypocrites, they then should be defrocked. These people are every thing that is wrong is religion.

Unfortunately if you read some of St Paul's letters you can easily see where the sexist views come from.
The problem is as far as I can see that the views of St Paul seem to dominate Christianity than the 'teachings' of Christ.
Not that I know of course being a mere pagan. BUT I was raised a Christian and I find the teachings of the church to be unacceptable and contradictory and that is what made me search elsewhere.
