  • Still Nothing

Very shortly I will be thinking of heading home, this morning was quite busy and I achieved a lot. But this afternoon I have just been plodding long on tick over, am still waiting for my suppliers to return all the documents they promised, so far nothing. I’m a little peeved at this, I will now have to ring and remind them that I need all the quotations back tomorrow; any received after Friday will be filed in the round filing cabinet on the floor or turned to bedding for hamsters.

  • Bikers Protest

Scores of bikers have caused rush-hour disruption in a protest against rising fuel prices. The protesters gathered at Birch services on the M62 north of Manchester before heading off in a slow-moving convoy.

The demo was organised by motorcycling groups, but they were joined by some taxi and lorry drivers.

Police stopped traffic on the motorway before the bikers left the service station, bound for Salford. It was the latest in a long line of fuel protests and came as some Labour backbenchers joined a chorus of voices warning Prime Minister Gordon Brown not to go ahead with a planned 2p increase in fuel duty this autumn.

  • Big Brother

The worst program ever to be aired on TV is back tonight and presented by TV’s worst presenter (Davina McCall),  Big Brother.  I am amazed it’s so popular and watched by millions every night what do they find so interesting about it. I would think it’s only watched by small minded people with limited imagination.

Frankly I can’t understand the attraction what do people find fascinating about people sleeping. I would rather watch grass grow, as you may have guessed I won’t be watching.

  • £300,000 a Week

Real Madrid is reportedly prepared to offer Cristiano Ronaldo an astonishing £300,000-a-week salary after tax.

Although Ronaldo has yet to publicly confirm that he wants to leave Manchester United this summer, Real are preparing to up the ante in their chase of the Portuguese winger by making it clear they are willing to make him the highest-paid footballer in the world.

According to The Daily Express, 'The five-year contract on the table is worth a mind-boggling £75m' and 'Real have also made it clear that the huge offer will not be on the table in a year's time.'

Is anybody worth that amount of money, after speaking with my dad who was a professional footballer his youth, he said he was on £30 when he started?

  • Smashed Up

Lewis Hamilton's dad smashed a £330,000 Porsche Carrera GT yesterday.

Anthony Hamilton, 48, had just left home in the borrowed 205mph Porsche when he lost control and ended up in a children's playground.

No one was hurt in the accident at Burnham Green, Hertfordshire and no other cars are believed to have been involved, but the Porsche's repair bill is expected to run to the thousands.

The Porsche Carrera GT is one of the world's fastest cars, and can hit 60mph from rest in only 3.9 seconds. It has a fearsome reputation for being tricky to control near the limit, and unusually for a modern supercar, uses a manual gearbox rather than a paddle-shift automatic.

Hamilton was driving with his wife Linda near their home in Tewin, Herts, when the car left the road and collided with a fence and hedge before coming to rest in the play area. The police have spoken to Hamilton about the incident.

Perhaps he need lessons from his son, but lets hope Lewis does pick up tips from his dad.

  • Share the Blame

Gordon Brown is not to blame for Britain's economic woes, former Prime Minister Tony Blair has said.

Of course he’s not to blame well not fully any way. I would say that he’s 33% to blame, Tony Blair is another 33% and the rest can be attributed to the credit crunch. Blair denied the credit crunch had been caused by the "liberal" banking regime set up by Mr Brown when he was chancellor.

  • It's a Pain

I have now plotted all the drawings and needed and folded them up, what a pain in the arse, it taken me since about 7:00 this morning and my hands are black from ink. Now I will have to send the next couple of gays going through each one and highlighting the changes. What a great job I have!

  • Out of Paper

The plotter has just run out of paper, after an epic struggle and trying to follow the idiots guide on the bloody thing I have managed to reload with a new of paper and we are off once again. It’s a good job I have received an extensive education other wise I would have had to get one of the admin girls to do it, I can even put paper in the printer as well , am I a good engineer or what?

  • Great Start

A busy start to the day have already sent out loads of emails and I have claimed the plotter for my own, well for the time being have loads of drawings to plot (at A0)  so that will take a me while.

Apart from that it’s a beautiful start to the day the sun is out and there’s barley a cloud in sky, hopefully it will stay like this at least until after the weekend.
