Andy Murray the 21 year Scot is British tennis’s only hope of us doing well at Wimbledon. Today he starts his campaign, but what are his chances, realistically of winning at Wimbledon this year or in the future. Our commentators always sing his praises and rightly so but they always temper their, remarks stating that at 21 year he his still young has plenty to learn. However, Roger Federer at the age of 26 is trying to win his 6 straight title, Becker won Wimbledon at the age of 17 and went on to win a couple more after that.

John McEnroe believes that he still has a lot to do yet, but he should be targeting a quarterfinal place this year around. He went to say;

“He believes in himself but he does need to listen to some people who can give him some solid advice. The biggest thing though, is that he's got to get himself in phenomenal physical shape - better than he's ever been in.

“It looks to me like he's getting better but if you really want to go deep in a major tournament then just look how hard the top guys work.

Nadal is unbelievably fit and Djokovic is the same - these guys are working harder than Murray is, in my opinion.”

But I hope he does well, despite that he’s doesn’t like the English, he his feelings that matter quite clear last year when he said he would support anybody who plays against England, but I don’t hold any grudgers.
