But I have managed to arrange my filing system and delete a lot of crap I have accumulated since I have been here, it amazing the stuff you hang too that’s of no use to anyone. Oh well, its all sorted now, it won’t tale long before I fill up my ‘C’ drive with loads of crap once again.

Tight Fisted
@ 2008-06-23 – 12:57:27
I know am tight fisted, but I am Yorkshire man, tighter than a ducks arse with deep pockets and short arms we make Scotsman look positively generous. But you have to remember I have a wife and teenage daughter to look after, and as every guy knows they are bloody expensive.

Bloody Scandalous
@ 2008-06-23 – 12:47:01
Have been and bought my lunch, I don’t think I will forget it again, £3.25 for a cheese and tomato role and can of coke, bloody scandalous its daylight robbery. How do these places get a way with it? I can nearly have sandwiches every day of for the same price I have just paid for one.

Amy has Emphysema
@ 2008-06-23 – 11:45:27
The father of Amy Winehouse has revealed that the singer has the lung disease emphysema; she collapsed at home last and was taken to hospital. It is well know that she has a history of drug taking including smoking crack cocaine.
Her father has warned drug dealers and her circle of drug addict friends to stay away from these include the singer Pete Doherty. She is due to perform at the Glastonbury Festival and Nelson Mandela concert this weekend and it is not known yet if she will appear.
I hope she now sees sense and gives up the drugs, however I doubt it she has become too addicted. At this rate it will be long before another celebrity as died through drug abuse.

Blinding Knickers
@ 2008-06-23 – 11:11:36
In our controversial times, it comes of no great surprise that a 52-year-old California woman is suing a lingerie manufacturer (Victoria’s Secret) over a thong injury which has damaged her eye.
The real question: How the did she hurt her eye while putting on underwear?
According to Macrida Patterson’s lawsuit, it all comes down to the decorative rhinestone heart on the waistband, connected to the fabric by tiny metal links.
“I was putting on my underwear from Victoria’s Secret, and the metal popped into my eye. It happened really quickly. I was in excruciating pain. I screamed.”
Patterson, an L.A.P.D. traffic officer, suffered three cuts to her cornea in the May 2007 incident, and has yet to name a figure that she’s seeking, but it will be at least $25,000.
Of course, women wear thongs for all reasons. Some call it beachwear. Others use it to make an outrageous fashion statement but many women, including policewoman, wear thongs simply to hide panty lines or for comfort.
It takes all sorts!! -
I've Forgot my Lunch
@ 2008-06-23 – 09:17:46
Have just discovered that I have left my lunch at home, which means I will have to pay the exorbitant prices down stairs in the staff canteen or go hungry. As I love my food and can’t wait until tonight to eat, I will have to bite the bullet (no pun intended) and fork out for a sandwich at lunch time.
Normally I’m pretty good and don’t usually forget things perhaps I getting old and my memory is going, of well my lunch is in the fridge so it might be ok for tomorrows lunch.

Zimbabwe
@ 2008-06-23 – 07:50:15
International criticism is mounting on Zimbabwe after opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai pulled out of a presidential run-off because of pre-poll violence.
Zambia's leader Levy Mwanawasa, who heads a regional bloc, said a vote held in current conditions would be an "embarrassment" to the region.
The US urged UN action over President Robert Mugabe's "illegitimate" regime.
Zimbabwe's ruling party said opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai had withdrawn from the poll to avoid "humiliation".
On Sunday, Mr Tsvangirai, who heads the Movement for Democratic Change, said that there was no point running when elections would not be free and fair and "the outcome is determined by.. Mugabe himself". The opposition's decision came after its supporters, heading to a rally in the capital Harare, came under attack.
The MDC says some 86 supporters have been killed and 200,000 forced from their homes by ruling Zanu-PF party militias.
The only people who can help to resolve this situation are Africans themselves pressure must be put on Mugabe by South Africa and other of Zimbabwe neighbours to step down.

Wimbledon
@ 2008-06-23 – 07:39:17
Prepare yourselves for some awful weather, today see the start of Wimbledon and we know what the weather is like during this tournament. Roger Federer is hoping to become men’s champion for the six year running, he equalled Bjorn Borg’s record last year and is hopeful of going one better this year.
Scot Andy Murray is Britain only realistic hope, he missed last year tournament through injury I am sure he will be cheered on by thousands of British fans just like Henham used to be.

Admin Day
@ 2008-06-23 – 07:30:02
Am back in the office after my long weekend, it was a struggle getting out of bed this morning, I could just as easy have rolled over and gone back to sleep. But being a conscientious person as I am, I didn’t hence here I am.
It should be a quiet day, the rest of the team are still and not back in the office until tomorrow, so I would have been missed. I do have a couple of things that need to done, nothing urgent but I do have to sort my files on my computer there seems to a load of rubbish on here that I can probably get rid off, so I’ll make this a admin day and sort my life out.
