  • Being A Gentleman

Only about another hour and I can head off home, Rosemary has phoned and given me some instructions (no change there then) I have to call in the pet shop (Pets at Home or Pets R Us, whatever) and pick up some cat litter, seeing as I forgot yesterday.

I did ask why she didn’t pick some up at the supermarket, apparently the bag is too heavy for her (I’ll give her that one; I wouldn’t want to carry one around town).

So I will the gentlemanly thing and get one on the way home.

  • The Drugs Work

I thought I might have a migraine coming on, the lights were flashing in my eyes and I was feeling a little nausea, but one of the magic pills (Nurofen Max Strength Migraine) and it’s already subsiding, the photosensitivity has gone and the headache has virtually gone. I haven’t had a full blown migraine for over year, I always seem to be able to head it off with a few pills as lond as recognise the signs.

Thank god for the wonders of modern medicine.

  • Kidnapped

An Italian man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping his former lover from a bar, taking her to his home and forcing her to iron his clothes and do his washing-up.

Police in Genoa said the 43-year-old man dragged the woman out of a city pub and shoved her into a car. When the pair arrived at his home, he threatened his former partner and made her do his chores.

The police eventually broke up the scene of enforced domestic bliss after being tipped off by a friend of the woman who had witnessed the abduction at the pub. The man, still furious at his partner for leaving him in the first place, was arrested for kidnapping.

  • Time for a Sleep

I have just finished my lunch a nice chicken sandwich and my not so little belly is full, all I want to do now is go for a lay down and a few hours sleep.

    Really wish I could!

  • Four More Die

Four soldiers one believed to be a woman have been killed in Afghanistan, they were caught in the blast from a road side blast yesterday afternoon.  This brings the total number killed in the region to 106 since operations began in 2001.

If confirmed it will be the first British Female soldier to be killed in the region.

  • It Never Happens When I Go

I had a few problems posting that clip in the last post it, took me about 10 attempts to get it in, for some reason it didn’t want top play.

But thankfully I managed to get it in, hope you enjoy I thought it was quite good, it never happens when I go and watch Southend.

  • Does This Count

Football fans please check this out, rumour has she has been singed to play for Man Utd to partner Rooney up front, but Colleen is not too happy about it.

  • Nature Reserves

Am a member of the RSPB not because I am an avid bird watcher, I do enjoy them of course who doesn’t. I am a member mainly because I love nature and the environment. Nature reserves be they woodland or RSPB sites are great days out for all the family, plenty of exercise (which I really need), fresh air and a great a photo opportunity.

Friday am off to Minsmere, Suffolk follow the link below to check the area I’ll be visiting and all the RSPB sites in the country.

  • Middle of the Week

Here we are once the middle of week, I don’t know about anybody else but this is where I normally only have the weekend on my mind, forget work the most important thing is my free time, lol. Well it’s no different today, but I actually started thinking about the weekend yesterday. Mainly because it’s another long weekend for me, yippee.

Friday I am off to Minsmere in Suffolk another RSPB site, supposed to be very good, lots more fresh air and course lots of pictures. The weather is supposed to nice again by Friday, anyway even if it rains it won’t dampen my enthusiasm.

I finish tomorrow lunch time, to tell you the truth I could probably finish my work by lunch today, we have handed over one of our projects to a new project team and the other two are in a quiet mode at the moment. Anyway enough rubbish for know, hope you all have a great day.
