Hopefully normality will be resumed to the East of End of London later today when a specialist team from the Royal Engineers, finally dispose of 1000kg bomb and has bought chaos to the Bromley-by-Bow area. The bomb which was found on the 2-Jun has disrupted rail and tub services through out the week.
Major Davis said it was "impossible" to say how many unexploded World War II bombs remained in London. More may be discovered as construction work takes place in the run-up to the 2012 Olympics, he added.
"There might be quite a few more found, and we are prepared to deal with that."
