  • Down Hill From Here

We are half way through the week already and every thing is going great. I managed to get the most important job of the month done today, I have submitted by expenses. It not a lot this month, just two train journeys into London that I did just before Easter. Unfortunately am not able to claim for a second home, or for a new kitchen and flat screen TV. I don’t think I would get with claiming for my son to do some work for me either, but you never know.

It all down hill now to the weekend, the only down side, is that its forecasting the possibility of snow again this weekend, isn’t it supposed to be summer now!

  • Milan to Aid Heathrow

With a backlog of over 19,000 bags, BA is contemplating sending all the bags to Milan to sort and then either driven or flown to their owners. BA has said it was quicker for bags with a European mainland address to go to Milan for sorting.

After the farce of the last few days at T5 it doesn’t surprise me that BAA and BA are incapable of sorting out their own mess and have to rely on someone else to do for them. It’s a sad symptom of what this country has become. This has been shown all over the world, although we are not the only airport to suffer problems when opening new facilities, because Heathrow is such high profile it has damaged even further our tarnished reputation.

It beggars believe what would happen if Heathrow is allowed to expand, further chaos and danger to those who live and work and work in the area.
