  • Rainham Marshes

You have a look at Rainham Marshes today, a RSBP site on the banks of the River Thames, haven’t been there before even though it only about 20 miles from where I live. The weather doesn’t look promising.

But I still hope to get some good pictures

    Bluebell

Did a little photography yesterday, I think I got some good shots will post them over the weekend, when I get time to process them.

But am afraid no Bluebells, or should I say very few, Bluebells I think it will be another week maybe two before we see carpets of them, there were one or two small patches of them. I did manage to get one close up shot of one which did turn out ok. But I was after lots of them.

The same goes for the fields of rape seed, although some are just starting to turn yellow, they are a bit patchy, it will be another week before they are in full bloom. I love yellow fields they make for great pictures, the contrast between the yellow of the fields and blue of the sky is great.

  • Still There

It wasn’t a total success yesterday, Rosemary had some stitches taken out, but she still has 8 in, the nurse said that part of the wound had not healed properly. She has to go back and see the nurse again on Tuesday. The nurse also said that the would should have been stitched by a surgeon and not a casualty doctor, because who ever did it, didn’t really do good job.
