It the great annual event on the Thames today, ‘The University Boat Race’. Looking out of my window this early in the morning, it looks like they have picked a nice day for it. Considering the bad weather we have had in the last couple of weeks I bet the organisers are relieved.
They are due to start at 17:15 this evening, is seems quite late to me, I can’t remember them starting that late before. The weather forecast is good, but has said the wind may increase which will make for an interesting race if that’s the case.
We are going out for a meal tonight; hopefully it will be as good as the last one. Well we are going to the same place, for a nice Italian.
